C.A.R.: Christian Auto Repair

Volunteer mechanics meet at Troy Ford Service Shop one Saturday a month to service cars for individuals that are in need. Basic repairs such as oil changes, brakes and tune ups are provided. The cost of labor for repairs is free, but customers are expected to pay one-half the cost of all parts. Service is by appointment only. Any donated vehicles are inspected and repaired, then given to deserving individuals in our community.

Requirements to apply

• Be a resident of Troy
• Proof of ownership of the vehicle with a copy of the registration
• Have proof of car insurance
• Be low-income, or have fixed income
